November 2010: Workshop: Lean Development and Management III: Visual Management - strive for perfection
With the ever increasing flow of information the need for easy browsing and visualization is important for creating a common understanding. Introduction of visual tools helps to enhance the dialogue, both internally among employees and in relations with customers. Introduction of scrum boards is an example of visual management, but how can it be transferred to task management, asset management, management of customer dialogue, etc. The subject includes both theory and practical examples.

Scrum boards is an example of visual management! How to transfer it to the task, portfolio management and management of dialogue with the customer?

Lean has its origins in the production by Toyota and has subsequently been used in the administration - both places are characterized by predictability.
The challenge is that an evolutionary process often includes unpredictability, and therefore it may be difficult to build a solid process.

l

November 2010 joined the lecture "The 8th habit - Leadership"
Unleash the potential solutions - both yours and your employees!
The leadership today has to inspire and get your employees' full potential in the game. We find ourselves in the age of knowledge-employee's.
The lecture includes inspiration from the ideas of Stephen Covey's book "The 8th Habit "which is a continuation of "7 Habits" and a new conceptual apparatus around modern management.
One gained insight into how to find own voice on the job and the job one have undertaken, and how to help others find theirs. On the way to jointly execute and create lasting sustainable results.
One gained insight into topics such as:
• How to create sustained superior performance
• How to form winning teams by unlocking talent
• Extreme loyalty
• How to develop true win-win relationships
• One's real "leadership mission"
The speech alternated between information, video and small exercises and cases.

Lean Development and Management 4 - "Who is responsible?" - The contract in an agile cooperation contract constitutes the legal basis between suppliers and customers. Who should be responsible, how to share the burden of unforeseen uncertainty - in short, how can cooperation be organized to make it mutually best?

September 2010: Course in LEAN 3
Lean Management in a Development Process 1-4 From project conception to implementation
Lean has its origins in the production by Toyota and has subsequently been applied in the administration - both places are characterized by predictability. The challenge is that an evolutionary process often includes unpredictability, and therefore it may be difficult to build a solid process.
The meetings Lean Management in a Development Process focuses on different management areas and provide coaching to the angle of attack and some suggested priorities and management tools.
Lean Development and Management 3 - "Visual Management - Strive for perfection" With the ever increasing flow of information is the need for easy browsing and visualization important for creating a common understanding. Introduction of visual tools to enhance dialogue, both internally among employees and in relations with customers. Introduction of Scrum boards is an example of visual management, but how can it be transferred to task management, asset management, management of customer dialogue, etc. The subject includes both theory and practical examples.

In recent years there has been increasing emphasis on the need for technical humanitarian relief efforts for disasters worldwide. Through the vision 'life after survival' EWB has helped to ensure clean drinking water, sanitation and shelter to thousands of people in disaster areas.
The second part of the event will be attended by EWB's student representatives from IHA. Here they will both tell about the students' work and how they have contributed for construction of electricity supply in isolated areas in Palestine.

l

August 2010: Course in LEAN
Lean Development and Management 1 - "Next time we need a better FRS (Functional Requirements Specification)!" The basis for the start of a project is often a requirement specification, but often after the project is finished the conclusion is "Next time we need a better FRS"! The challenge is that development includes building up knowledge, and this is asking for other methods. Focus is on management of unpredictability and management decisions in the process. Project Foundation is a dialogue based tool developed by GoApplicate ensuring oversight, displays ignorance, and continually keeps the focus on Customer Value.

Speech: Blue Ocean Strategy (March 2008 - mindbiz):

Blue ocean strategy - The new winner strategies are about finding that strategy making the company being unique on the marked, and make the company superior to competitors. The management must not focus on deadly competition like price competition, but on creativity and new ideas.

There is no company constantly having success, and there is no branch, where everything is going well all the time. Therefore companies should not keep certain (locked) handling pattern, but all the time consider, how the marketing, sell and communicate with their marked. Companies should "out of the box" and find their unique area of business. Doing so competition might become uneccessary.

The red ocean symbolises marked with deadly hard competition. The blue ocean symbolises uniques marked positions, where competition is at minimum.
